From midnight on Thursday 26 March, Wellington Park is temporarily closed to recreational and tourism use. This means that all walking, mountain biking, tours, dog walking and other recreational activities are not permitted until further notice.
The City of Hobart has completed a hazard reduction burn in the area north of Breakneck Track. All tracks are now open.
Tasmania Fire Service has conducted a fuel reduction burn in the Glenorchy City Council management area of Wellington Park.
